Today is the last day of VAMFF for 2017. As sad as it is, I had the most amazing time dressing up, meeting friends, and seeing the most incredible styles from some of Australia’s top designers!
Wearing – Cos Shirt + Earrings | The Lair Pants | Tony Bianco Heels | Naked Vice Bag + Neck scarf
Over 3 days I saw 7 runways – Next.com.au runway, Runway 3, 4 + 6, Menswear, Grand Showcase (Camilla and Marc) and Myer Runway. All were so inspiring and energetic.
One stand out was Camilla and Marc – the models walked upon a beautiful blush pink carpet and wore a stunning collection of garments. The collection featured classic shirting with a twist, florals, whites, light blue denim, stripes and gorgeous tan colours. Everything a blogger could want in their wardrobe!

Shop their collection here. I know I need the Reverse shirt!
Another one of my favourites was Anna Quan – the Shirting Queen! Her models walked for Runway 6 (sponsored by RUSSH magazine) and her shirts were styled in some inspiring ways, including a shirt as PANTS!!!

This shirt by Anna is on my birthday wishlist- those cuffs just get me
Did I also mention I got to met the lovely Anna? We had a lovely chat about Insta Stories of all things!
Overall, I had an amazing time at VAMFF. Cannot wait for next year, I may have already started planning my outfits…
Thank you to Laura for being my VAMFF bestie, Reannon Smith for capturing my style and Grace & Coy for our brief meet up
Delicate designs are something I really favour in jewellery. When I discovered these ones from CW* (Curated Wholesale), I was hooked!
CW* is an online private pre-luxury accessories club where members have access to a select range of delicate jewellery which is restocked according to their requests. CW* aim to provide a more sustainable alternative in a fast fashion world.
These three, plus my silver pears have been in my daily rotation for weeks now, adding that elegant touch to my outfit.

Not a paid or sponsored post – I do own and wear these earrings
How can it be the first weekend in March already!
For me, February was an exciting month. I started my Stylist course at Australian Style Institute, continued my minimalist lifestyle by buying less, curated my wardrobe to be full of well loved, quality pieces and created a space that I can relax in.
The important thing for me this month was to do only the things that I love to do! That doesn’t mean that I just sit on the couch all day eating chocolate (the dream!) but to do things that make me feel full of energy and are productive. Things like: photoshoots, spending time with my partner and cat, writing content, curating my Instagram and walking home from work.
I am actually really looking forward to the cooler months, this hot weather has gone on for too long and I am missing my knitwear and jeans!
March also brings us VAMFF, which I am really excited for! I have two shows so far. Unfortunately, work commitments meant I couldn’t attend more. But there is always next year! I’m currently browsing my Pinterest for outfit ideas and the temptation to buy a new outfit is almost too much! I’m thinking of a relaxed, yet classic vibe this year, but we shall see what I come up with!
Back to the Stylist course with ASI. If anyone is wondering if they should pursue a career in personal or editorial styling, I would highly recommend an Australian Style Institute course. Not only is Lauren Di Bartolo extremely knowledgeable and inspiring, there is such an amazing amount of support from staff and past students! I’m looking forward to continuing my studying and career with them. On that note, I am looking for 3 people to style for free, so if you know anyone or would love a new outlook on your style, contact me!
Well, that is enough rambling from me! Leave a comment below with any highlights from your February.
