I’ve finally found the perfect pair of Mom jeans! High rise – check! Straight Leg – check! Black – check!
Also new in my wardrobe is this L/S top, which I also purchased in black.
In other news, my hair is getting ridiculously thick. I feel like a new style is in order… maybe a fringe to shake it up?

I am lucky enough to have pretty clear skin (sometimes with the occasional breakout), so I like to keep my skincare nice and simple. I find that using products that are natural and cruelty-free helps to keep my skin healthy.
These are my current favourites (I also use an Australis Blush which I have run out of!)
I always begin my routine by moisturising my skin with Redwin Sorbolene cream after I cleanse, it’s a light creme that instantly sinks in and provides the perfect base for my next step – primer. The Australis Original Primer is great for everyday wear as it smooths out my skin and prevents my foundation slipping off. 3INA (pronounced MINA) makes an amazing foundation that gives a full coverage and lasts 9 to 5 with only a light powder touch up!
I use Australis blush to add some colour to my face, then I shape my brows using the “Oh Hai Brow” kit by Australis – as you can see, I am nearly due for a new one! I use the lightest colour for my brows and if I need a lift, I add in the highlighter under the arch of my brow and a touch to my eyelids. 3INA also has a perfect pen eyeliner which gives me the control to create a thin or thick line. I like to create a casual flick from the outer corner of my eye for everyday wear. My Lights, Camera, Lashes Tarte mascara is one that I purchased in Sephora, Malaysia. Its a great 4-in-1 that lengthens and curls my lashes while giving them volume and moisture.
Lush is my go to for perfume and lip balm, as well as a million other things! I use myHoney Trap Lip Balm everyday and it smells so good that I could eat it! If I feel like a bit more colour I add a dash of Models Prefer Lipstick in “natural”, I purchased this one ages ago in a Priceline sale. I like that it gives me just a hint of colour.
To remove my make up and cleanse my skin I use 9 To 5 from Lush, it’s a great everyday cleanser and its gentle on my skin. When I feel I need a bit of TLC I use my Sukin Organics Purifying Masque to de-stress my skin. I follow this up with some Kukin Organic Rosehip oil before I go to bed, these both help to sooth and rejuvenate my skin.
While this is just my basic skincare/makeup routine I would really learn how to contour like a Kardashian and be more confident to wear bolder lipsticks #beautygoals!
Although I love all of my products, I am in search of an at-home facial kit to brighten and smooth my skin and new cruelty-free brands to try – if you have any suggestions please leave them in the comments below

The Extreme Layerers see layering as a challenge, not a chore. Underwear over outerwear, jackets over shirts, over dresses – could they BE wearing any more clothes?? With a capacity to wear more outfits at once than anyone else, they casually top off their unique style with a jacket until it’s time to unwrap again.
Boohoo.com recently challenged me to partake in their version of the Olympics, their challenge? Create an ‘Extreme Layered’ look fit to win a Gold Medal but with a budget of £50 ($84 AUD)
So arming myself with the knowledge of a Blogger in the unpredictable weather of Melbourne (sunshine one minute, hail the next!) and taking inspiration from Style Icons and the Fashion Gods (Christine Centenera), I begun.
Finding the perfect combination of the right layers was a challenge in itself! Boohoo.com has an extensive online store and I wanted to add everything to my look! But I stayed true to my style and chose a simple shirt dress ($36) that could be worn over a pair of cropped flared pants ($14), a mesh top ($20) to be worn under the dress and a longline waistcoat ($28). While it may look like a fairly simple outfit, the details make it a standout. Pushing up the sleeves on the dress to expose the mesh top underneath adds a touch of attitude, while also unbuttoning the dress to the top of the pants to complement the flared look. Throwing on the longline waistcoat adds that extra layer and adding a pair of tall black heeled boots finishes the look (sadly my budget didn’t stretch that far, but they can be a purchase for next time).
While technically my look came in over $84, I took advantage of boohoo.com’s current 40% off dresses & tops deal! this brings the total of my look down to $79. Missed out on that deal? Don’t worry! Boohoo.com frequently has great deals for your all your fashion needs!
Also, I just found the perfect bomber jacket over at boohoo.com!

Just a few of my current favourites helping me to survive the Melbourne winter chill!
Topshop Leather Jacket | H&M Roll Neck Top | Dennie Yeap Linen Pants | Tony Bianco Oskar Boots | Ray Ban Sunglasses |
I am totally OBSESSING over these on trend blush shades at the moment.
Which is very unlike me as I am strictly a black, white and grey girl, but I guess there is nothing wrong with stepping out of my comfort zone once in a while…
